Gallant has announced his second new song of the year, dropping off ‘Haha No One Can Hear You!’ as a prelude to his forthcoming full-length body of work, ‘This Does Not Fit’.
Set for release later this year, ‘This Does Not Fit’ will also feature ‘Doesn’t Matter‘ which was released back in May and attracted A$AP Ferg for the official remix.

The Arctic Monkeys are the latest gamble being reported by Betway to headline next year’s Glastonbury Festival.
The band, who recently returned with their sixth studio album ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ have had their odds slashed from 11/4 from 9/2 by the bookmaker, behind Kendrick Lamar who stands at 5/4. Elton John and Kylie Minogue are also favourites, whilst earlier today, Paul McCartney‘s just-released US tour dates also puts him in line for a Worthy Farm return.
Rumours that the band will perform at Leeds and Reading next year are spreading fast and the latest betting suggests they may also be rocking up at Worthy Farm in little under 12 months’ time.
Betway’s Alan Alger said: “We’re keeping a very close eye on the Glastonbury headliner betting at the moment. Kendrick Lamar was strongly supported in the betting earlier this summer, while Stormzy was the man that everyone wanted to back last week…. Today, we’ve seen plenty of interest for the Arctic Monkeys and have had to cut their odds to 11/4 from 9/2. As things stand, Kendrick Lamar, Elton John and Kylie Minogue occupy the three spots up for grabs, but the way Alex Turner’s band is being backed suggests they’re a likely performer.”
Glastonbury Festival returns from 26-29th June.
Aretha Franklin will be laid to rest today (Friday 31st August) in an invitation-only event in Detroit, however fans will be able to watch and listen to the service in its entirety courtesy of a multitude of live-streams across the globe.
National US broadcasters, including the AP and USA Today will be showing the five-hour long funeral which is set to include tributes from Chaka Khan, Ariana Grande and Stevie Wonder. Former President Bill Clinton will also speak at the ceremony, alongside Smokey Robinson, Tyler Perry and Clive Davis.

Paul McCartney has announced the US stint of his forthcoming ‘Freshen Up Tour’, following the earlier reveal of dates in Canada, the UK and Europe.
Interestingly, whilst we probably wouldn’t report on this kind of news, the US run concludes a fortnight prior to 2019’s Glastonbury Festival, which McCartney has been heavily rumoured to be headlining.
Back in June, the former member of The Beatles was questioned by Radio 2’s Jo Whiley about a potential return to Worthy Farm, alluding that both his daughters had started an online campaign to get him back onto the Pyramid Stage. Though not denying any discussions with the Eavis family, McCartney replied to Whiley’s question “If you were asked though, what would you say?” with “I’d probably do it!”
Paul’s new album ‘Egypt Station’ lands next Friday, 7th September. If he does indeed take up one of the headline slots, it would be McCartney’s first return to Glastonbury since 2004.

It’s her confident ‘White Rose’ that sweeps the board, mind, and it’s that song we’re bringing you today.
Think the blurred lines between the likes of Mahalia and Ray BLK and you’re probably halfway there. ‘White Rose’ is simply brilliant!

Australian collective Modern Citizens are one of the hottest acts in the southern hemisphere and they now look set to take a place on the global stage with their latest drop, ‘The Weekend’. Here the guys deliver a solid and sophisticated cut, with lush chords and smooth vocals chops working hand in hand for a classic house offering that oozes deep grooves.
Alongside the original, the trio have also dropped an impressive remix package too. The well know ATFC delivers a peak time cut, filled with rolling grooves that are primed for the back end of the Ibiza season, while Double-Up regulars Avon Stringer inject some chunkier chug laden lines into their re-work. To cap it off, there’s also a pretty spectacular edit from Tom Evans too.

Lifted from his forthcoming record ‘Resistance’, Coleman’s new song centres around his gorgeous vocoded vocals, supported by a sleek, instantly danceable uptempo backbeat. On first listen, you can easily see why his friend and bandmate Kamasi Washington refers to him as “Professor Boogie”.
