Bob Dylan has shared his forthcoming album The Bootleg Series, Vol. 10 – Another Self Portrait (1969-1971) online, one week prior to the full physical in-store release. Rare recordings taken from the 1970s albums Self Portrait & New Morning will feature on the album, along with other rare track and live recordings.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock over the past couple of weeks, you’re likely to have not missed the heavy promotion regarding this week’s launch of Blake Harrison’s new sitcom Big Bad World.
The comedy series, which gets its UK premiere on Comedy Central, is the first sitcom from Blake Harrison, since his starring role as Neil on Channel 4 smash hit The Inbetweeners.

UK girlband The Saturdays have unveiled their new single Disco Love.
The track is the follow-up to the group’s previous hits this year, including Gentleman and What About Us and is set to feature on their as-yet-untitled forthcoming new album. An accompanying video is set to be shot with a 1970s disco theme.

Reformed Sugababes Mutya Keisha Siobhan (also going under the moniker MKS) have unveiled the official video for their new single Flatline.
Shot in Venice Beach, California in July, the Flatline video is the girls’ first visual together since their announced reformation just over one year ago, and is the first official single from their eagerly anticipated new album scheduled for a January 2014 release.

Musiq Soulchild and Syleena Johnson have returned to the music world with new collaboration Feel The Fire.
The new track, taken from the duo’s forthcoming collaborative LP 9INE is a reggae-inspired cut, taking cues from Billy Joel’s classic We Didn’t Start The Fire.
About the new joint project, Musiq Soulchild mentions “I wanted to do a Reggae album…. Syleena wanted to as well and we wanted to work together. We’ve known each other forever!”. Johnson added “The music was so good, and we both love Kemar’s production. So we’re just like ‘why don’t we just do an album’?”

In anticipation for the release of his first studio LP Kiss Land, Canadian alternative R&B singer/producer The Weeknd has unveiled his remix of Lorde’s Royals.
The Weeknd’s remix of Royals, the number one hit by 16 year old New Zealander Lordes, takes a slightly uptempo approach yet still works incredibly well.

In preparation for the release of his eagerly-anticipated debut album Hotel Cabana, British producer Naughty Boy has unveiled his new single Think About It.
Featuring Wiz Khalifa and Ella Eyre on vocals, the track is a solid follow-up to his Sam Smith-stomping No 1 La La La from earlier this year.

90s Irish teen chart star Samantha Mumba has returned to the world of music with her new single Somebody Like Me.
The ballad is a stark contrast to her previous hits (Gotta Tell You, Body II Body), however as ballads go, it’s a pretty good one! The singer is showing maturity in her voice, and there could definitely still be a market for a female R&B soloist in today’s cluttered dance-inspired charts.
