Nile Rodgers and Chic have shared their new video for ‘Sober’, their recent collaboration with Craig David and Stefflon Don.
Lifted off Chic’s recent record ‘It’s About Time’, their first new album in over 25 years, the New-Jack-Swing inspired track sees a visual centred around London’s infamous Abbey Road Studios, with Rodgers looking for inspiration on how to make a simply great song (which ‘Sober’ itself, is).

Scandinavian luminaries Little Dragon have detailed their new ‘Lover Chanting’ EP, the band’s first release after signing with Ninja Tune. Announced alongside the unveiling of the project’s title-track, the new 3-song collection (which was self-produced by the band in their Gothenburg studio) will be released on 9th November. A special limited-edition 12″ vinyl will be released one week later on 16th November.
“For all the lovers out there, chant along! Dance for peace and unity in this world of madness!” the band speak regarding the EP. Meanwhile, lead singer Yukimi Nagano adds that the EP is about, “The force of love. Not only between two people but the force of love in this universe as the ultimate ecstasy. Whether that is while you’re dancing at a disco forgetting where you are or just staring at the moon on a clear night, it can be anything. A swim in the ocean, a glance at a stranger–it’s a personal individual thing. Call it what you want but we have all felt it. So, embrace the great mystery of everything that your brain can’t grasp and lose track in the most beautiful sense.”

Catz n’ Dogs & Sonny Fodera have tackled rework duties for Gorgon City and NAATIONS’ recent ‘Let It Go’.
Lifted from Gorgon City’s second studio album ‘Escape’, released earlier in the summer, the new remixes hear Fodera drop his own signature groove-driven blend of emotive-house across a more upbeat tone, whilst acclaimed duo Catz N’ Dogs add a twisted afterhours feel to their imagination of their song.

Formed as part of Ciara’s two-song set (which concluded with ‘Dose’, the recent single from her upcoming new album), the performance followed Missy’s recent reveal that her new material will be landing in the new year.

Today the duo have dropped the song’s official video. Directed by Glenn Michael and Christo, the clip celebrates rap’s place within the fashion world, no less than featuring cameos from various stylist rappers throughout the years (including A$AP Rocky).

The first weekend of this year’s Austin City Limits kicked off last Friday (5th October), featuring an eclectic line-up consisting the likes of Paul McCartney, Khalid, Chvrches and more.
One of the key highlights however was Janelle Monáe’s performance on the final day, which saw her run through her multi-album discography. Funking the crowd up, she brought to life ‘Q.U.E.E.N’ and ‘Electric Lady’ (among others) whilst also dedicating ‘PrimeTime’ to Prince, who had mentored her career from the start.

The 1975, Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora, Twenty One Pilots and Mumford & Sons are among some of the artists stepping into the world famous Live Lounge this November, as Radio 1 confirms the return of Live Lounge Month for 2018.
Set to take place on Clara Amfo’s mid-morning show Monday-Thursdays, 2018’s Live Lounge Month will also see performances from Dizzee Rascal, Zara Larsson and George Ezra.
“Whether returning to the Live Lounge or making their debut performance, it’s set to be another special month.” says Clara, whilst artists have also waded in on the excitement too. Mumford & Sons say “We’re so stoked to be playing the Live Lounge for the fourth time – it remains one of the Great British institutions.”

Post Malone has announced plans for his first full-scale European arena tour for 2019.
Set to travel the continent in celebration of his recent record ‘beerbongs & bentleys’, Posty will kick off his UK & Ireland soiree on Valentine’s Day (14th February) in Dublin. He’ll then travel to the UK, stopping in Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester. Following the Manchester performance, the rest of Europe comes calling, with shows in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Stockholm and more. The TX-based rapper will then return back to the UK to close his European tour at London’s O2 Arena on 13th March.
