A new viral video has surfaced online to drum up excitement and anticipation for the release of new motion picture Carrie.
The movie is the third screen adaptation of Stephen King’s infamous supernatural thriller about a shy high-school girl who uses her newly discovered telekinetic powers to exact revenge on those who tease her.

BBC’s annual appeal Children in Need has announced that Ellie Goulding will be supporting the charity through her latest track, How Long Will I Love You.
The track has been selected as the official single for the 2013 Appeal and will help raise money to support disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.
The exclusive television performance of the single will be broadcast on the BBC Children in Need Appeal Show airing live on BBC One on Friday 15 November at 7.30pm. The Charity single will be available to pre-order from 7 October and for full download from 10 November.
How Long Will I Love You already appears on Goulding’s rereleased album Halcyon Days (released in August), and is a cover of The Waterboys’ 1990 hit.
As the official artist behind this year’s single, Goulding joins a long list of renowned performers including Girls Aloud, who supported the campaign with their comeback single Something New in 2012. Other past acts include JLS (Love You More, 2010) and the Teletubbies (as part of Peter Kay’s Animated All Star Band in 2009), along with David Bowie, Tom Jones and Elton John, who featured on the iconic Perfect Day single in 1997.

UK X Factor winner Matt Cardle has premiered the official video to his new single When You Were My Girl.
The track is the second release from Cardle’s forthcoming new album Porcelain, set for release on 28th October, and follows the singer’s Top 10 duet with Spice Girl Mel C on Loving You.
British pop vocalist Conor Maynard took to SBTV recently, unveiling his A64 of current single R U Crazy.

British music publication NME has announced a redesign of the magazine’s content, both on- and off-line, along with a new typograph, set to premiere this Wednesday with David Bowie gracing as the cover star.
Amongst the changes will be an updated aesthetic on the logo, as well as enhancements of the magazine’s popular sections both in print and on digital formats.
NME will also be teaming up with The Official Charts Company, to feature the Official Record Store Chart, whilst adding in new areas including Soundtrack of My Life and Lost Albums, set to drive further music recommendations.
Of the new changes, editor Mike Williams said: “It’s vitally important that NME continues to push things forward and innovate, and this redesign does exactly that, creating a more dynamic, modern magazine that is heavy on content and depth of delivery whilst refreshing the look and feel of NME.com to ensure a superior user experience. Having already sold out two January 2014 shows at London’s Brixton Academy, The 1975 have announced details of additional dates at both Manchester and Brixton Academy on Monday 6th and Thursday 9th January respectively. These extra tickets will go on sale at 9:00 AM on Wednesday 9th October.

The BBC have confirmed that they are to launch a video channel based around Radio 1’s content.
The station, wide supporters of sharing video content of their own programmes, have not confirmed when the new channel will be launched, however the news has been welcomed by many.
Of the new channel, Radio 1 boss Ben Cooper said “I’m very excited about transforming Radio 1 from being just a radio station into being a full audio-visual channel. Radio 1 has always pioneered innovative ideas and led the way in engaging with young people and this is another huge step in cementing that reputation”.
