Gregory Porter, Swabs and Lion Babe are just some of the names confirmed for Disclosure’s upcoming second album Caracal.
Announced moments ago, Caracal, the follow-up to the Lawrence brothers’ hugely-successful debut Settle, will drop at the end of September, and will feature the previously-released Holding On and Bang That, alongside the upcoming Lion Babe collaboration, expected to drop at midnight tonight.
Of the new record’s title, Disclosure’s Howard Lawrence said, “A Caracal is an incredible wild cat that I became fascinated with while on tour last year; I just love the way they look, their physical capabilities and their anonymity. It felt like a perfect fit for our Wild Life brand too, so the Caracal made perfect sense as the lead visual for the new album and over the course of recording, it also felt like a natural title for the new record too.”
Disclosure are expected to preview some of Caracal‘s all-new material later this evening as they look to close the second day of their inaugural Wild Life Festival in Brighton. Meanwhile, the aforementioned Lion Babe collab is rumoured to be dropping at midnight tonight – you can check out the world’s first live performance of the track over here, unveiled during Disclosure’s set at Manchester’s Parklife Weekender, last night.
**UPDATE: The Disclosure duo also brought on Gregory Porter during their Wild Life set to perform Holding On (see visual at the top of this post).
