Set to receive its official airing at next week’s Tribeca Film Festival, the full preview trailer for forthcoming Nas movie Time Is Illmatic, has premiered online.
The film, which explores the legacy of Nas’ iconic debut Illmatic twenty years after its release, backtracks to the rapper’s time within the industry, alongside the impact the hit album had across modern culture.
Nas is set to re-release the acclaimed album next week as part of its 20th anniversary, retitled as Illmatic XX, which features digitally-remastered tracks, bonus remixes and rare B-sides.
