Sorry for all those hopefuls, but it seems Led Zeppelin and Daft Punk have both been officially ruled out for 2020’s Glastonbury Festival.

Speaking to NME backstage at last night’s NME Awards, Glastonbury curator Emily Eavis confirmed there will be many surprises in store for this summer’s 50th edition, whilst also extinguishing the flames of rumours of both acts. “It’s not Led Zeppelin and it’s not Daft Punk” Eavis revealed when questioned about some of the big acts set to grace the festival in June.

However, Emily continued there would be “some really big, significant surprises” that would be revealed on the days within the festival themselves.

Earlier today, it was confirmed Lana Del Rey would be returning to the Pyramid Stage for the first time since 2014.
