After promising he was “really going to mash it up” during a chat with Graham Norton last week, Stormzy’s headline set at 2019’s Glastonbury Festival proved doubters wrong, and affirmed the Croydon MC’s place as one of the UK’s finest musical exports.

This set had EVERYTHING. From performing tracks off his debut record ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ (‘Big For Your Boots’, ‘Cold’, ‘Blinded By Your Grace Pt.2’ and cult hit ‘Shut Up’), the Londoner, real name Michael Omari, also shared music from the project’s follow-up, set to land over the coming months. Guest appearances came from Raleigh Ritchie, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Dave and Fredo whilst UKG was also given its time on the headline spotlight with a rework of Shanks and Bigfoot’s iconic ‘Sweet Like Chocolate’.
