Glastonbury curator Emily Eavis has shared further glimpses on what to expect as the festival’s 2019 appearance creeps ever-closer.

Speaking to BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley yesterday (22nd April), Eavis gave a quick run-through on new installations happening around Worthy Farm this June, specifically the new Glastonbury On Sea pier (situated by The Park), alongside the expansion of Block 9. During the chat, Emily also confirmed further line-ups will be announced in the coming weeks, with Block 9 expected imminently.

Though day-splits are yet to be announced, Emily revealed that Glastonbury’s closing day – Sunday 30th June – will see a pop-heavy showing on the Pyramid Stage, with Years & Years confirmed for their debut Pyramid performance, alongside Miley Cyrus who will be warming up for Kylie Minogue’s legends slot.
