Kanye West has cancelled his reported appearance as one of this year’s Coachella headliners.
The star, who continues to make the news with his often-controversial outbursts on Twitter, was expected to appear in the forthcoming line-up announcement (rumoured to land this week),
According to the website, Kanye was reluctant on performing on the traditional 60×40 stage, citing it as “artistically limiting”. A source close to Kanye told TMZ – “These 40×60 stages are so archaic. It’s the same type of stage on which Shakespeare’s works were performed hundreds of years ago.”
West was due to join other headliners Justin Timberlake and Childish Gambino at 2019’s Coachella (which kicks off in April),
More as we hear it.
