Organisers of Victoria Park’s annual Field Day have announced a venue move for 2019, as the acclaimed festival switches things up with a shift from East to North London.

Now set to take place at Enfield’s Meridian Water, 2019’s Field Day will also mark a turning point for the UK live scene, as alongside a new location comes an all-new setup and also the latest ‘final orders’ of any London festival.

Situated next to Tottenham Marshes, Field Day’s new site will consist an enormous ten-acre outdoor space with four giant, interlinked warehouses, the largest of which will be the biggest warehouse venue for music in the city (7,500 cap). A press release confirms that the new location will give the festival the platform to reinvent what a London festival is – expect “never-before-seen staging and structures, state of the art production and the finest sound quality”.

“2019 will mark the start of a new chapter for Field Day and a completely new type of festival for London” says Luke Huxham, Field Day’s Festival Director – “This new site will allow us to break down the restrictions that London festivals are normally faced with and deliver an unrivalled experience. It’s hugely exciting to be working with such a pioneering council, who support our ideas and are focused on creating a new cultural hub for London. We can’t wait to unveil more of our plans in the coming weeks”.

Next year’s line-up is still under wraps, but pre-sale tickets for the June 2019 event are available now. Head over to Field Day’s website now to sign-up.
