The first weekend of this year’s Austin City Limits kicked off last Friday (5th October), featuring an eclectic line-up consisting the likes of Paul McCartney, Khalid, Chvrches and more.
One of the key highlights however was Janelle Monáe’s performance on the final day, which saw her run through her multi-album discography. Funking the crowd up, she brought to life ‘Q.U.E.E.N’ and ‘Electric Lady’ (among others) whilst also dedicating ‘PrimeTime’ to Prince, who had mentored her career from the start.
