The Eagles’ ‘Greatest Hits’ has surpassed Michael Jackson’s iconic ‘Thriller’ as the Best Selling Album of All Time.
With streaming statistics included in the latest tally, it’s been declared that The Eagles’ compilation, released in 1976, is now five million sales ahead of Jackson’s effort. ‘Thriller’ still retains the title of being the ‘Best Selling Album Of All Time’ globally though, and even in the US, retains the accolade by being a full original piece of music. The Eagles’ ‘Hotel California’ sit behind ‘Thriller’ at No.3.
