Late last year, Sam Smith proclaimed his love for Fifth Harmony whilst filming his instalment of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke. No less than the girls surprising Sam midway through the segment, it now appears that Smith has taken things one step further after being caught cooking up something with former member Normani.

Sharing a pic on their socials earlier today, Normani’s management S10 hinted at a possible collaboration between the pair, tweeting out an image of the two hugging alongside the caption “studio vibes”.

Normani’s recently been captivating the music world on her own accord – back in May she wowed the Billboard Music Awards with her performance of ‘Love Lies‘ alongside Khalid, stealing the show against a backdrop of some of the world’s biggest artists. With her solo debut album set to drop over the next twelve months, who knows if that Sam Smith collaboration could be the one to take her to even higher climbs.
