James Blake has dropped an early Christmas present for fans by presenting the studio recording of his cover of Dom McLean’s Vincent.

Having initially premiered the rework during a summer performance at New York’s Museum of Modern Art (the song was originally written in homage to Vincent Van Gogh, whose Vincent painting is on permanent show at the venue), Blake’s cover has since become a staple in his regular US shows.

Watch below; James has also recently been previewing new music during his US stint – a follow-up to 2016’s The Colour in Anything is expected to land next year.
