The festival season may have only just finished, but that hasn’t stopped Denmark’s Northside already gearing their fans up for next year’s event.

Teasing a major part of the festival’s 2018 return earlier today, the annual event, based in Aarhus, will take place between 7-9th June, and headlined by The National, Father John Misty and Queens Of The Stone Age; Frank Ocean, Radiohead and The Prodigy topped the bill earlier this summer.

Cigarettes After Sex and Deerhunter have also been added to the line-up.

Announcing the news earlier today, Northside spokesman John Fogde said organisers were “really pleased that we can now add five amazing acts to the poster”, adding “though 2017 was something special, I can already guarantee now that there will be plenty to look forward to in 2018.”

Coachella joins Northside as the only other major festival to announce a 2018 headline appearance so far – next year’s event will be topped by Beyonce whose pregnancy earlier this year forced her to cancel her 2017 appearance.
