Mavis Staples shows no sign of slowing down. Last year, the legendary singer released Livin’ On A High Note, whilst also dropping a surprise appearance on the recent Gorillaz album, Humanz. Today however, Staples has announced an all-new project, reuniting with Jeff Tweedy (responsible for Staples’ Grammy-nominated You Are Not Alone and One True Vine) for If All I Was Was Black.

Out in November and featuring ten original songs (one of which features Tweedy), Mavis has celebrated the project by sharing the groovy title-track. Grab a listen below:
