Sampling tracks from ‘yesteryear’ can indeed be a risky business, but Chris Malinchak pulls it off pretty well with his new single Magic, a slice of feel-good electro-soul-house that reworks snippets of Blossom Dearie’s 1950’s track, They Say It’s Spring.
