Beyonce has cancelled her headline appearance at this year’s Coachella, instead moving to lead the bill in 2018.

In a release by the California-based festival moments ago, Beyonce’s decision comes “following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months”; it’s currently unclear whether she will be replaced.

Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar are still on-track to headline both weekends when Coachella returns on 14/21st April – Radiohead will open on the Friday, Lamar on Sunday 16th/23rd. Beyonce, who is currently pregnant with twins, was due to perform o April 15th and 22nd, a set which would have become the first female act to headline Coachella since Bjork’s performance back in 2007.
