As the rumour-mill continues to spin for next summer’s Glastonbury comes the news that Radiohead will be returning to the farm to headline the Pyramid Stage on Friday 23rd June.

Announced moments ago, Radiohead’s appointment marks the first official concrete newspiece for Glastonbury 2017, and follows the group’s other European headline shows across the summer, including Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Portugal’s Nos Alive Fest.

Radiohead have long-since been rumoured to return to the Pyramid Stage, even moreso following the release of their recent LP A Moon Shaped Pool earlier this year. Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis also hinted at the group’s appearance prior to this year’s festival during a talk at the Oxford Union back in May, asking the audience “Do you like Radiohead? They’re good aren’t they?”.
