Tbh, we knew we were missing Emeli Sande, but we didn’t know by how much until we laid our ears on Hurts about a month ago.
Since then, the lead single from her forthcoming album Long Live The Angels has only grown and grown on us, and ultimately marked an exciting return for one of the most familiar and poetic artists within the scene, and today Emeli has graced us with the follow-up aligning with Jay Electronica and Ainey Zion on Garden.
Annie Mac just premiered it as her latest Radio 1 ‘Hottest Record’ so you know you’re in good hands with this; essentially if Garden doesn’t whet your appetite for Emeli’s new project, then we’ve probably lost hope on you.
