The first ticket sale stampede for 2017’s Glastonbury Festival has been and gone, with all coach+ticket combo packages selling out in less than 19 minutes.

As per previous years, those who look to travel to Glastonbury by coach were given a four-day head-start on securing tickets, with some 15,000 being snapped up when they went on sale at 6pm this evening. Meanwhile, a further 120,000 ticket-only passes will become available this Sunday (9th October), with prospective buyers expected to enter a race with over one million other hopefuls. Tickets for 2017’a Glastonbury will see a £10 increase versus this year (£238 + £5 booking fee vs £228 + £5), however still delivers excellent value for money against other events in the annual festival calendar.
