Following the recent announcement of their 2016 live tour, Chase and Status have also been confirmed as the first act to perform at this year’s MOBO Awards.
Set to be broadcast live on ITV2 direct from Glasgow’s SSE Arena, Chase and Status’ appointment kickstarts what’s likely to be one heck of an evening as the MOBO committee gears up to celebrate its 21st birthday. as the MOBO committee gear up for the annual soiree’s 21st birthday. Of the news, MOBO fouder Kanya King MBE commented “[Chase and Status] is only the beginning of our 21st anniversary celebration – we are preparing for a most memorable evening with the best talent and inspirational guests to continue our work started 21 years ago supporting diversity and inclusion. We have some great new initiatives on the way; it’s all very exciting.”
