The MOBO Awards have announced the return of their national UnSung initiative, which looks to provide a platform for new talent for 2016.

Fronted by Lady Leshurr and Ghetts, the UnSung competition will look to inspire new artists by offering them the chance to win year-round guidance, including studio time, touring opportunities, opening the doors to develop contacts and more. Whether you’re a singer, songwriter, producer, rapper or poet, the UnSung competition is definitely one you need to explore – last year’s winners Mic Lowry have already had a phenomenal 12 months, and with further support from the likes of 1Xtra’s Sian Anderson alongside Carla Marie-Williams and Fraser T Smith, it’s clear this is one heck of a solid platform to get your work onto the next level.
