Last week saw Mabel team up with London’s Tate Modern for Talk About Forever, a track written specifically for the project to pay homage to the Tate’s new building.
Today, however, hears the young artist deliver an official new single by way of Thinking Of You. Premiered as Annie Mac’s latest ‘Hottest Record’ last night, Thinking Of You delivers an almost continuation of Mabel’s late-2015 joint My Boy, My Town, telling of the burden on relationships when environments around you change. Of the new track, the singer says “relationships with cities are similar to relationships with people…being away from both can really make you appreciate what you have”.
