Snakehips, Skepta, Rudimental, Ed Sheeran and Jamie xx are amongst the nominees for this year’s Ivor Novello Awards, organisers have confirmed.

Announced earlier today, this year’s ‘Ivors’ marks strong support for the UK’s specialist areas in particular, with the likes of James Bay and Jess Glynne also added into the mix. 2016’s Ivors will also mark the second year in a row for a nomination for Glynne, after last year’s win of Best Contemporary Song and Most Performed Work for Clean Bandit’s Rather Be.
