Just one month on since the service partnered ways with Sony, Soundcloud have announced their long-awaited subscription-service, Soundcloud Go.

Initially available as a US-only product (for the time-being at least; co-founder Eric Wahlforss has promised a launch in more markets throughout the year), the $10 monthly fee will offer a wealth of benefits over their usual free service. Besides being ad-free, Soundcloud Go will deliver music from the various majors (Sony, Warner Music, Universal Music etc), whilst also continue their original ‘bread and butter’ service of offering music from the more emerging of artists out there. All music will be available to listen offline too.

For those who already pay for Soundcloud (via Soundcloud Pro), the $9.99 will be reduced to $4.99 per month; iOS subscribers will pay more, currently $12.99. It’s yet to be confirmed whether the UK will receive the ‘Dollar to Pound’ conversion when pricing is eventually revealed here.
