As anticipation heats up for the record’s 11th February release, Kanye West has announced a title-change for his new album.

Originally called So Help Me God, the project’s name was switched to SWISH earlier last year; now with just over a fortnight to go until its release, Kanye has confirmed that it’ll now be known as Waves.

Unsurprisingly, Kanye believes his album is pretty good, tweeting recently that “this is not album of the year. This is album of the life.” Quite so…

Yesterday, it was revealed that the rapper will be playing the album out in full at Madison Square Gardens, to coincide with the unveiling of his Yeezy Season 3 range – the event will also be simulcast to cinemas across the globe (with 17 CineWorlds in the UK already confirmed to host).

UPDATE: It seems that the initial tracklisting has been updated, with Kanye adding more and more intrigue about the record as the hours tick by. Moments ago, Nina Chop was removed from the WAVES set, replaced by Famous, plus all-new song Ultra Light Beam. With the refreshed tracklisting also comes cues of appearances by Earl Sweatshirt and Chance The Rapper, alongside ASAP Rocky and Swizz Beats. Check it below:
