We’re all very excited about Craig David’s return, and when we say ‘we’, we’re talking not just us but pretty much every human involved in the UK’s music scene (from fans to labels to, well, just about anyone who’s ever owned a pair of headphones).
Gone are the days when Craig became a mockery by Keith Lemon (I mean, Lemon’s a bit of a dick anyway, and hand-on-heart, did anyone ever enjoy Bo Selecta?), and now, thanks to his surprise appearance on Kurupt FM’s Mistajam takeover, it seems the day is nigh for Craig to grace us with his comeback once and for all.
A couple of weeks back, the Southampton-born lad hooked up with Big Narstie for the first official taster of his new music – When The Bassline Drops cemented not only Craig’s return but also proved that UKG was well alive and kicking, and today that track receives a pretty murky remix thanks to Flava D (herself a modern-day heroine for the genre).
The edit received its world premiere by FACT earlier today (big-up them lot – we’ve got a lot of love for FACT), so cop an earful below:
