We’ve been championing Laura Welsh for a fair while now (no-less naming her as one of our 2014 Ones To Watch a couple of years back), so hearing new music was on the horizon, obviously our ears pricked up! Welsh’s debut record Soft Control was criminally underrated, however with the singer picking up a legion of new fans thanks to her Undiscovered inclusion into the 50 Shades soundtrack back in February, 2016 could well mark a turning point into the Londoner’s career.

Back with all-new song Sex & Violence, the arresting track hears Laura deliver a bird’s-eye view on the ‘behind closed doors’ stance of a relationship. Whilst it’s not confirmed whether Sex & Violence will fall part of a new studio project (we hope it does), this is definitely one you need to engage yourself with – with a soaring chorus, it won’t be long before Laura Welsh is a name your friends will be muttering around in droves.
