Sometimes a track comes your way, via a newcomer too, that just captivates you on first-play, and today, that accolade gets delivered courtesy of Nottingham-based Harleighblu.

Hooking up with SpectraSoul for the edgy Real Good, Harleighblu shares a track that genuinely wouldn’t seem out-of-place on Janet’s Rhythm Nation – it’s got the mechanical-tech sound that made New Jack Swing so prominent in the 80s, yet dope and soulful enough to stand so fresh in 2015.

Real Good falls part of the singer’s new Futurespective EP 2 (which is also highly worth a listen) – check it out below, and as always let us know your thoughts.
