Gallant’s Weight In Gold has been one heck of an internet sensation since its initial debut back in June – and fully-deserved too. Delivering Gallant a huge following thanks (in part at least) to his silky vocals, Weight In Gold has earned its stripes as possibly being one of 2015’s standouts.
With remixes now starting to seep out of the woodwork (Louis Futon’s edit is definitely one you need to check out), the latest revision of the cut lies by way of On Planets, a fairly new artist who takes the track out of the realms of possibilities, delivering surprises that grow ever more indescribable as the track continues through (the second chorus is just too good not to rewind!). Starting off fairly subtle, the overall track’s build-up is huge – you NEED to listen to this one.
