Florence and The Machine, Disclosure and Pharrell have been announced as the first wave of headliners for this year’s iTunes Festival, or to give it its correct revamped title, The Apple Music Festival.

Returning to its London home of Camden’s Roundhouse, this year’s iTunes Apple Music Festival will be shrunk to ten nights (historically, the annual event has taken over the whole month of September).

Running between 19th-28th September, 2015’s Apple Music Festival will also see One Direction take to the stage on 22nd September (with support from Little Mix); Disclosure will lead the charge on the 25th, Pharrell 26th and Florence will close on 28th; more acts will also be announced over the coming weeks.

“The Apple Music Festival is a greatest hits set of ten unbelievable nights featuring some of the best performers on the planet appearing live and interacting directly with their fans on Connect and Beats 1.” said Apple’s Eddy Cue, adding “We wanted to do something really special for music fans this year.”

As per previous years, fans looking to attend will need to enter the ticketing competition – head over here for more info.
