Skepta has withdrawn his appearance from next week’s BBC Proms, organisers have announced.
Dubbed ‘A Grime Symphony’, Skepta was due to appear next Wednesday (12th August) at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall, in an evening that supported 1Xtra’s output for a late-night celebration of some of the UK’s finest urban talent.
Fekky has been confirmed to replace Skepta, joining the likes of previously-announced Wretch 32, Stormzy, Krept and Konan, Lethal Bizzle, Chip and Little Simz, all of whom will be supported by Jules Buckley and his acclaimed Metropole Orkest.
