Organisers of this summer’s V Festival have announced a wealth of big names added to this year’s lineup.
Riding the wave of his huge global smash Uptown Funk (and forthcoming single Feel Right), Mark Ronson will grace both Weston and Hylands Park over the August weekend, whilst V 2015 will also see a return to the stage by Example (in turn supported by DJ Wire). Also amongst the expanded list include Maverick Sabre, former JLS-member Aston Merrygold and Tove Lo.
On his upcoming appearance, Example said “I can’t wait to return to V Festival, the crowds never disappoint. A lot of people will be used to my shows with the live band behind me, but this time I’ll be bringing DJ Wire as I want to put on a unique rave with a twist. I’ve been lucky enough to perform at festivals all over the world but there’s always something special about V Festival – it feels like my home turf.”
Maverick Sabre added: “It’s been a busy year and what better way to celebrate than playing at one of the best festivals in the UK. I’ll be dropping some new tunes so really looking forward to getting out there and sharing them with my fans.”
The aforementioned will join the likes of previously-announced Sam Smith, Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding and more, as V Festival look to celebrate their 20th anniversary. More names have been promised by organisers over the coming months.
