In preparation for their upcoming 10th birthday, Wireless Festival have thrown the celebrations to a miniature cast of their big headline performers.
Featuring ‘Little Drizzy’, ‘Mini Minaj’ and ‘Rita ‘Awh’ra’, amongst others, Wireless threw a party to the next generation of revelers (without alcohol, of course), as they celebrated the festival’s 10th birthday in style. Living up to their more adult counterparts, the ‘minis’ even came with rider demands in the substance only kids would – think jelly, ice cream, sweets and fizzy drinks! (Let’s just face it, we doubt Jamie Oliver would approve, but hey, Wireless has always been about seeking your inhibitions!).
The mini five (made up of the aforementioned, alongside ‘Young Flav’ and ‘Baby Guetta’) also got the chance to channel each of the artists’ trademark style, wearing clothes from high street store and this year’s Wireless sponsor, New Look.
In celebration of their 10th birthday, Wireless Festival are hosting a party (18+ only though, sorry kids!), one week prior to the main Wireless Weekend. Featuring the likes of Rita Ora, Chance The Rapper, Jhene Aiko, Katy B, Big Sean and De La Soul, Wireless’ 10th Birthday will take place in London’s Finsbury Park.
