It’s been four years since Amy Winehouse tragically passed away, and whilst her life was so-heavily documented, there were rarely chances to hear her side of the story.

Today, the trailer for the upcoming Winehouse documentary, Amy, has been unveiled. The two-hour film, which hits cinemas on 3rd July, receives directorship from the BAFTA Award-winning Asif Kapaida, so at least you know the movie will be in safe hands.

Focusing on the singer’s life from her own perspective, Amy revisits various pieces of footage throughout her early life, all the way through her career, until that sad say when we lost one of the greatest artists of modern times.
