Kasabian and Calvin Harris are to headline this summer’s V Festival, as organisers celebrate the event’s 20th anniversary.
Alongside Harris and Kasabian, other acts confirmed for V (which takes place on the weekend of 23/24th August), include the likes of Paloma Faith, Sam Smith, Nero, Hozier, Chvrches, Ellie Goulding, Jessie Ware, Clean Bandit and George Ezra, amongst others, all whom will grace V Festival’s homes in Chelmsford’s Hylands Park and Staffordshire’s Weston Park in August.
Festival Director, Simon Moran said of the lineup: “We wanted to champion British talent at this year’s festival and with the likes of Calvin and Kasabian leading the way we don’t think it’ll disappoint. The eclectic mix of established artists and rising stars, with a few more in the pipeline, means that once again there is something for everyone at V Festival….. It’s incredible to think what V has achieved in two decades. When we started out in ‘96, we were two stages and one tent, with the northern site only hosting one day of acts. Since then we’ve hosted some of the most iconic acts from around the world. Here’s to another decade!”
Alongside the line-up announcement comes confirmation that V Festival 2015 will once again see the return of V Style camping for its fifth year, giving fans a more luxury way to spend their time.
