In a rare turn of events, Kanye West has shared a public apology to Beck, following his storming of his award acceptance at the Grammy Awards earlier this month.

Taking to his official Twitter account moments ago, West, whose performance at last night’s BRIT Awards divided opinion, simply tweeted “I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I’m sorry Beck”.

Kanye, who, unlike other artists, keeps himself fairly quiet in the land of Twitter, also took the opportunity to apologise to Bruno Mars, even going so far to request Mars’ appearance on a new Puff Daddy-produced track.

It’s a rare showering of emotion for Kanye, who also wore his heart on his sleeve during his second interview with Zane Lowe earlier today, where the rapper spoke of his various insights into the industry, his forthcoming album, his new fashion range and more.
