As they gear up the PR trail for the undoubtedly impending release of their anticipated as-yet-untitled sophomore album, CHVRCHES took to Radio 1’s Live Lounge earlier today (19th February) to unveil their cover of Justin Timberlake’s Cry Me A River.

Adding CHVRCHES now-signature electro-synth style to the pop-ballad, Lauren Mayberry took the helm of the vocals, adding her sharp tones to the song, injecting some mid-tempo fun into the sultry track.

  1. Another great cover from Chvrches! Always love how they make covers their own and not karaoke like many other bands would do. These on and off again interviews and songs really make their next album highly anticipated and we certainly can’t wait.
