As the US and the rest of the world look to ‘celebrate’ Black History Month (we use the term ‘celebrate’ lightly as we obviously believe that equality should be 100% throughout all of society), Beyonce has shared a behind the scenes look at the voices behind her 2015 Grammy performance of Take My Hand, Precious Lord.

The moving 8-minute clip once again highlights the need for the world to overcome hatred, and discrimination – a combined issue which seems to unfortunately be rearing its head again (e.g., the tragic deaths of Eric Garner and Trayvon Martin). Beyonce has long-since been a champion of equality, with her grandparents having marched with Dr Martin Luther King during the Civil Rights movement in the 1960s, so her allegiance to the cause is meaningful as much as it is necessary.

Watch the full video below (her Grammy performance can be viewed here); as a publication that looks to embrace all society and cultures, we need to take a stand against hatred against all humans, be it for race, gender, sexuality and religion – hatred breeds hatred; combined we can stamp this ideology out.
