We really like Lion Babe… like, really, really, REALLY like them – so much so that we recently listed the NYC twosome as one of our ’15 For 2015: Ones To Watch’, and it’s today that teh duo showcase one of the many reasons why we award them with continuous praise.
Sharing the official video for Treat Me Like Fire, (Lion Babe’s new single alongside the latest cut from their self-titled debut EP), the visual is the group’s second stab of the song, with the first released over two year ago.
Silky and mesmerising, the Treat Me Like Fire clip harmoniously complements the wooziness of the track – it’s no wonder that with visuals (and songs) like Treat Me Like Fire (alongside their previous discography), Lion Babe are being mooted as somewhat leaders of electronic soul. If you’ve yet to hear anything else from them (shame on you by the way!), then think Odd Future-offshoots The Internet as a way of explaining their approach.
