According to reports today, Pharrell Williams has been drafted in to help Adele complete her heavily-anticipated new album.

The record, expected to be titled 25, had been rumoured to land in 2014 following a mysterious tweet by Adele on the eve of her 26th birthday, however the project has since been pushed to this year.

Sources close to theDaily Star, apparently confirmed today that “Adele is back in the US to finalise her new album and she’s making some 11th hour alterations. She wants to try something different with Pharrell.”

Adele’s previous album, 21, spiraled her into the global limelight thanks to such hits as Rolling In The Deep and Someone Like You, however, bar singing on the title-track to the last James Bond movie Skyfall, has kept a relatively low-profile upon completing her touring schedule in 2013.
