Tourist and Years and Years have unveiled the official video for their new collaboration Illuminate.
Premiered over at Best Fit earlier this evening, the trippy Illuminate visual sees production from Canadian animator Nicolas Menard who used Adobe’s suite of tools to attempt one of the most creative videos we’ve seen over the past twelve months. “Everything was animated frame by frame in Photoshop” said Menard, continuing “with some slight compositing in After Effects, and the editing in Premiere”.
Not only is it a pretty slicked concept, it’s also a brilliant advert for Adobe too! Bravo to all those involved. Illuminate is out now via the iTunes link; catch the video in full after the jump:
