Following Rihanna sending the web into a spin earlier this week by teasing a glimpse of a new song, the singer’s eighth studio album has been placed on pre-order on Play.com.
The record, which remains unnamed (though rumoured to be called R8 or The Lost Files), has been hugely anticipated by fans, as well as the industry, with many expecting Rihanna to ‘do a Beyonce’ and surprisingly drop her album out the blue (akin to last year’s surprise record from Bey).
We’ve screengrabbed the images of the preorder in case Play.com remove the record (potentially due to any breach of confidentiality they may have broken), however according to the site, Rihanna’s new album will land on Boxing Day 2014.
