Organisers of 2015’s Leeds & Reading Festivals have confirmed that iconic rock band Metallica are to headline the event, returning to the festival for the first time since 2008.
Announced earlier today, Metallica’s appearance at the festivals, which take place over the weekend of 27th – 30th August 2015, follows on from their headline slot earlier this summer at Glastonbury Festival.
Amongst the other acts confirmed to appear at Reading and Leeds are Jamie T, Run The Jewels and Wilkinson. Metallica confirmed their attendance by releasing a video on YouTube (below).
