This morning we all woke up to 7/11 appearing online; now Beyonce’s second new track from her forthcoming album Beyonce: Platinum Edition, has also surfaced.
The mid-tempo Ring Off hears Beyonce pay tribute to her mother Tina Knowles, whose strive for happiness appeared after she separated from the singer’s father/ex-manager, Matthew Knowles (hence ‘Ring Off’), and is now happier and more successful since that day.
Beyonce: Platinum Edition hits iTunes and Amazon next week, and includes all fourteen tracks from last year’s surprise record, alongside a live performance DVD as well as special remixes of her existing discography.
