A demo of Eminem’s iconic 8 Mile hit Lose Yourself has made its way online, prior to the inclusion of the track in the rapper’s upcoming Shady Records compilation, Shady XV.

Unveiled online earlier today, the track still keeps to the original’s instrumental, albeit with fresh bars from the rapper. Eminem recently said that he doesn’t remember recording the unearthed edit, however puts this down to that time of his life being a constant ‘blur’.

Shady XV, which celebrates 15 years of Eminem’s Shady Records label, lands this coming Monday (24th November) and will feature all-new material from labelmates D-12, Yelawolf and Eminem himself (amongst others), whilst a second disc will celebrate the label, acting as a ‘greatest hits’ anthology from over the years.
