Foo Fighters have announced plans for a large stadium tour of the UK next summer, fuelling speculation of a Glastonbury Festival appearance.
Set to start on 25th May at Sunderland’s Stadium Of Light, the rock band will also hit Manchester’s Old Trafford and London’s Wembley Stadium, with the tour concluding on 23rd June at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, a day before the iconic Somerset festival kicks off.
The Foo Fighters will be joined by both Iggy Pop and Royal Blood on support for some of the dates , with tickets set to go on sale next Friday, 21st November.
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl recently said that Emily Eavis has yet to contact the band to perform at Glastonbury, but regardless, speculation is likely to continue.
