Earlier today, popstar Taylor Swift announced plans to take her new album 1989 on the road for a world tour next year.

Already confirming her as the first performer of next summer’s Barclaycard British Summer Time in Hyde Park (June 27th), a gap in her UK shows during Glastonbury season has already started rumours of Swift bringing her catchy-bubblegum-pop to the iconic event in Somerset.

Swift will play at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on June 23, with a Manchester show one day later. With a gap between Manchester and Hyde Park falling on Glastonbury’s opening weekend (24th June), there is the possibility of Swift performing on either 26th or 28th June at Worthy Farm.

So far no performers for Glastonbury 2015 have been confirmed, though Michael Eavis announced last week that the heavily-rumoured Fleetwood Mac, alongside Queen, will not be making an appearance.
